Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take Reservations?
The Marlborough is no reservations —
we're a regular pub, just pop in whenever the mood takes.
Outside tables, weather permitting,
are also on a first come first served basis.
We take reservations in Crisp only.
(We also always keep space for walk-ins though these do fill up quickly).
— Please note that while we get going in the new place,
pizza isn't served in the pub, purely in Crisp for now.
Do you pub food / Sunday Roasts?
Pizza, downstairs in Crisp.
We serve bags of crisps and nuts at the bar, but if you’re looking for a roast or a steak, that’s not us, you probably want to check out
The Devonshire.
If you like your pub with pizza below, you’re in the right place.
(Please note, pizza is available only in Crisp,
it is not currently served in the pub).
Is there disabled access?
Yes, there is step free access to the pub
and accessible bathroom on the ground floor.
Do you allow dogs?
Dogs are allowed in the pub.
Small, well-behaved dogs are also welcome in Crisp.
Please be aware both the pub and Crisp are busy, noisy spaces.
If your dog gets anxious in such environments,
an outside table on a sunny day may be the best bet.
Can I work from the pub?
We don't allow laptops or loud phone calls in the pub.
Do you do gift vouchers?
Soon. Just not quite yet.
How do I book a table for Crisp?
Reservations are taken through
Sevenrooms here.
Sorry to say we can not take reservations via email.
Walk-in tables are on a first come first served basis.
If we can’t accommodate you when you arrive, we’ll let you know how long the likely wait for a table is.
Are children allowed in the pub?
Children are welcome to accompany adults in the pub and Crisp
until 5pm. After this time is over 18 only.
Do you have a dress code?
No.
Do you do corkage?
We don't do corkage.
Do you cater for vegans?
Our New Haven pizza (Marinara, no cheese) is vegan.
This is the only purely vegan pizza currently on the menu,
though you can of course ask for the Tie-Dye
or Funghi Pie without cheese.
